1. Getting Started & Device Pairing
Step 1: Download & Install

Search PettiChat on the App Store and tap Get to download the app.

Step 2: Create an Account

1. Open the PettiChat app and tap Sign Up.

2. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete your account registration (enter your email/phone number, set a password, etc.).

Step 3: Pair Your PettiChat Device

1. Power on the device: Short-press the power button for 1 second until you hear the start voice prompt.

2. The device will automatically enter Wi-Fi setup mode (voice prompt will notify you).

3. In the PettiChat app, tap Add Device and follow the guide to complete your pet’s profile (name, breed, age, etc.) and network configuration.

4. After setup, the device will restart automatically. Clip it onto your pet’s collar or clothing when ready.

2. Core Functions & Operations

Function 1: Pet Sound Translation

When your pet vocalizes or performs recognizable actions, the device will detect the sound/action patterns automatically. The PettiChat algorithm converts these patterns into human-like speech, which will be played directly through the device.

Function 2: Pet Conversation

To start a chat with your pet, say the wake-up phrase “Hello Hello” + your pet’s name (e.g., “Hello Hello Pipi”). The app will trigger the conversation mode, enabling interactive communication between you and your pet.

Function 3: Pet Tracking

- The device provides real-time pet location tracking with an accuracy of approximately 5 meters.

- Open the PettiChat app to view your pet’s location.

- In tracking-only mode, the device’s battery life lasts up to 4 days.

Extra App Features

- Check chat history and location records anytime in the app.

- Customize your pet’s voice tone and character settings in the Settings tab.

3. Device Button Controls

- Power On: Short-press the power button for 1 second.

- Wake Up / Interrupt: Short-press the power button for 1 second.

- Power Off: Long-press the power button for 5 seconds.

- Reset Wi-Fi: Long-press the power button for 10 seconds.

4. Important Notes

1. Do not force your pet to wear the device; it is not a training or punishment tool. Stop using immediately if your pet shows discomfort.

2. The device is water-resistant but not suitable for long-term immersion. Use only original charging accessories, and avoid charging in humid environments.

3. Translation results are based on sound-pattern recognition and algorithms—they are not 100% accurate and should be interpreted for reference only. They cannot replace professional medical diagnostics.

4. Location accuracy may be affected by environmental or signal factors. Do not rely on the device as the sole method to prevent pet loss.

5. The conversation simulation function is for entertainment and companionship only, and does not represent your pet’s actual intent.

6. Keep the device and its small parts away from children to avoid accidental swallowing. Do not disassemble or modify the device.
